An Overview Of Our Nottingham Based Wedding Photography Service

At DDP, we offer a range of packages and albums. All of the packages featured here include David Day BA(Hons) LBIPP as the main photographer.

All include a full day's photography, which you may choose to start with a morning visit to the bride's home, make-up artist or hairdressers and typically finishes with the first dance and all include an album.

There is no set number of pictures made but David typically ranges between 500 and 1000 on a wedding day. From the best of these, we create what we call, an 'image index CD Rom' (yours to keep). We provide you with 3 copies of this CD ROM, so that you may post them around the family without fear of loosing the 'master copy'. This digital 'pre-view album' of your wedding photography is like a website but its on CD, with small images in colour, black and white, sepia and blue and white.

If you are unable to visit us in Nottingham, after your honeymoon, you may choose the pictures for your album, from the CD, but most couples visit us here, where we show them the pictures in a slide show on a large monitor and help them with the edit ... offering suggestions and options but not dictating the choice.

Any manipulations requested at this stage, such as mixing colour and black and white together in the same image or placing the bridal party or couple on your wedding cake (or removing unwanted items in the background) are included in the package price.

We then spend some time getting the very best out of every digital file and (package dependent) spend time designing the page-layout within the album. We send the files to an award winning professional lab, who provide us with high quality crystal archive prints, for the best in longevity. We then assemble your album and 6 - 10 weeks (depending upon level of design required) after choosing your images, your stunning wedding album is ready for collection.
